This cartoon animation of a retiring employee added humor and an intentional bit of silliness to the project.

Challenge:
The challenge was to represent an honored leader at an event celebrating his retirement. The producer of the video created an extremely creative, abstract video but I did not see it until after the entire piece was finalized. He gave me footage of the vice president and asked me to develop an animated image of this person.
Solution:
I used the footage given me to illustrate several expressions with eyes open and closed. The producer then used these as the man spoke. There was apparently quite a bit of laughter as the video was shown.
